Doris Charest   

Doris Charest has her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta as well as her Bachelor of Fine Arts through the University of Calgary. Since completing her formal education, she has continued to study with many fine teachers through various workshops. Her watercolors and collages are whimsical creations developing from her imagination and dreams. Her technique of pasting or weaving different watercolors into one creates an elusive feeling. She also works with symbolism and hopes to provoke thought in her viewers. However, other works are simply her perception of life and those fleeting moments which give us that little shiver of joy.
