Olga Duk

I was born and lived in the South part of Russia, beside the Black Sea.

I received an art education at the age of 10 at a Children Art School from 1976 to 1983. In 1989 I graduated from Academy of Art and had my first exhibitions in 1992. I have held over six solo exhibitions around Russia and have been involved in group exhibitions. My original paintings have been shown widely and consist in many private collections. I worked as an artist and illustrator in the children library for fifteen years. During that time I have been teaching art as a business owner.

In 2004 I came to Canada and started working as an art instructor. As a member of St. Albert Painters Guild I took part of two art exhibitions last October 2007 and April 2008.

At the current time I am teaching private art lessons at my home art studio and I hold watercolor and pastel classes at Michaels' art studio.
