Barry Traquair  

Barry is an Edmonton area artist who started sculpting in 1990. His work has been influenced by his love for nature and animals, and in particular the Polar Bear. He works mainly in soapstone and finds the natural beauty and colors of the stone to lend themselves to a free design and smooth lines.

Barry enjoys many hobbies and activities and lives in St. Albert with his daughter. His sculptures are in collections in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada.
